Over 500,000 Life-Changing Therapy and Education Sessions provided: Inspire celebrates 15 years of impactful services.

Inspire commemorated its 15th Anniversary with a celebration attended by its esteemed stakeholders. The event delved into the organisation's accomplishments, alongside the unveiling of Inspire's refreshed branding, followed by a reaffirmation of commitment to forthcoming projects.

The spacious hall within the organization's Marsascala facilities, typically dedicated to hosting a day programme for 33 adults with profound multiple learning disabilities, has been transformed into a reception venue accommodating over 150 attendees. This event served as a poignant opportunity for staff members, service users, sponsors, and donors to come together and commemorate a significant milestone. As part of the 15th-anniversary celebrations, recently Inspire unveiled its refreshed identity under the tagline “Transforming Lives Together,” reflecting its commitment to creating just and fair inclusion in a society where everyone can thrive.

A heartwarming video showcasing the timeline of Inspire's achievements spanning the past 15 years was shared, complemented by compelling statistics depicting the impact of the organization's endeavours throughout 2023.

Over the past fifteen years, Inspire’s team has provided educational and therapeutic specialized services and family support to over 26,000 individuals. During the celebration, Inspire showcased its impact, with over 500,000 education and therapy sessions provided. These sessions include individualized and group educational and therapeutic sessions, access to the rehabilitation area, as well as emotional and family support.

Reflecting on the past 15 years, CEO Antonello Gauci remarked, "We have invited our community, supporters, and stakeholders to join us in commemorating this significant milestone. This milestone is a testament to the dedication, resilience, and unwavering support of our community, staff, volunteers, and partners. Together, we have transformed countless lives, championed inclusivity, and paved the way for a more equitable society."

Despite several setbacks and challenges, Inspire has continued to develop key services in collaboration with its Research and Innovation Council which serves as an invaluable resource, bringing together local and international expertise in the fields of disability and wellbeing; by understanding the needs of the community and by partnering with various national stakeholders, including the government, to ensure consistency and up-to-date services and facilities for its users and their families.

Inspire is working towards overcoming the current barriers in disability service delivery. The intention to reach out to an even wider population, especially those who are currently struggling to find appropriate services for their needs. This aspiration has led to a breakthrough for Inspire, that is the development, modernisation, upgrading and equipping of its Marsascala facilities, already renowned for its facilities such as the hydrotherapeutic indoor pool, the horse-riding arena, and the multisensory rooms.

Inspire Foundation's impact extends across various domains, including education, therapy, and social integration. Through innovative programs, specialized services, and advocacy efforts, Inspire has empowered individuals with diverse abilities to reach their full potential with the aim for them to become active contributors to society.

Founded in 2009, Inspire Foundation, a leading NGO dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities, has evolved into a beacon of hope and progress for countless individuals and families across Malta and Gozo.
