Join Friends of the Earth's cycling training on October 7th and learn some key cycling techniques!

Would you like to learn how to cycle, but don’t know where to start? Or do you already know how to cycle, but want feel more confident and safer on the roads? In FoEM's ‘Bike About’ cycling training for beginners and intermediate cyclists, their experienced instructor Michelle from ‘Freedom is a Bicycle’ will teach you how to ride your bike!

Beginners will learn the key cycling techniques and skills necessary, from proper pedaling techniques to braking and cornering skills. You’ll gain confidence in handling your bike and navigating on the road.

Intermediate cyclists, who already know how to cycle, will learn how to be more confident and safe cycling on the roads. You will learn about hand signals to indicate directions, positioning on the road, looking out and responding to dangerous situations and many more.

The training will take place on Saturdays 7, 14 and 21 October from 4pm to 5.30pm in front of FoEM Green Resource Center in Floriana. The training is limited to a certain number of participants to ensure individual attention and a quality learning experience.
