Join the ESG Skills event on the 9th of May and discover the future of the European Economy!

To mark Europe Day, Europe Direct CORE Platform will be holding a panel discussion focusing on the skills required to enable the current economic transformation.

ESG skills enable individuals and organizations to make informed decisions that integrate sustainability and social responsibility considerations into business and investment strategies. By possessing ESG skills, individuals can identify and mitigate risks related to climate change, social inequality, human rights abuses, and other ESG issues that can impact financial performance and reputation.

Having a workforce with these skills contributes to sustainable growth, leads to more innovation and improves companies' competitiveness. The European Year of Skills 2023 will help companies, in particular small and medium enterprises, to address skills shortages in the EU. It will promote a mindset of reskilling and upskilling, helping people to get the right skills for quality jobs.

The green and digital transitions are opening new opportunities for people and the EU economy. Skilled workers will enjoy better job opportunities and fully engage in society. This is key to ensure that the economic recovery as well as the green and digital transitions are socially fair and just.

Interested in taking part? Register here by no later than the 5th of May.
