Kayaking for a cause - YMCA fundraising

Do you love kayaking and helping others?

Then join YMCA on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8, 2023, for a fun and meaningful kayaking adventure to raise funds for YMCA Malta!

It will start from Mistra Bay and paddle 2.5km to the beautiful Saint Paul’s Islands, passing by historical and natural landmarks such as the Mistra Battery, Rdum Il-Biez, a sea cave, Ras Il-Mignuna, and a WW2 Search Light Post. You will also go around the islands before heading back to Mistra.

The tour will take about two and a half hours and we will have two sessions:

Session 1: Meet at 8:30 am, in the water at 9:00 am, back by 11:30 am
Session 2: Meet at 11:30 am, in the water at 12:00 pm, back by 2:30 pm

The cost is only 38 euro per person, and half of the proceeds will go directly to YMCA Malta!

If you have your own kayak or paddlesport equipment, you can join for just 10 euro (and all of it will go to YMCA Malta). You can also paddle both sessions for the same price if you want.

YMCA will provide kayaks, paddles, dry bags, safety whistles, and certified sea kayak guides for those who need them.
