Join MCVS for a training in Safeguarding on May 9th and 16th!

The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector is collaborating with the Office of the Commissioner for VOs (OCVO) and Ms Kerry Hermitage to provide 2 training sessions dedicated to Safeguarding. Please find more details regarding the training below:

Content:
Attendees can expect to delve into essential topics aimed at protecting sensitive information and assets within an organizational framework. Discussions will cover fundamental principles of data security and best practices for safeguarding against threats. Additionally, participants will get guidance on recognizing and reporting suspicious activities, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a vigilant and proactive stance in maintaining the integrity of financial and personal information. Compliance requirements and legal obligations pertinent to safeguarding accounts will be addressed, ensuring that attendees are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to mitigate risks effectively.

Deadline to submit your registration is 2nd May 2024 – noon.

Each voluntary organisation may apply for a maximum of 2 volunteers. Each training session will have an intake of a maximum of 40 participants; hence we encourage VOs to submit their application as soon as possible to secure your spot.
