Support JA Malta and donate to make the integration course a reality!

Junior Achievement Malta, together with CSR Malta, has successfully run two rounds of an integration course for Ukrainian Refugees between January and April 2023.

Thanks to this joint effort, JA Malta hosted training sessions at their premises in Sliema, where 25 to 30 Ukrainian refugees each round learnt how to integrate into Maltese society.

The sessions, delivered by Ukrainian volunteers, explored Malta’s education, banking, legal, employment and social security system, as well as Malta’s culture and history, for a holistic overview on life in Malta. 40 Laptops were donated to families with children, to ensure the remote continuation of their education, courtesy of HP.

JA Malta is now preparing to run another round in September 2023, with one round being over 4 Saturday sessions.

Education and integration are essential if these displaced people are to thrive in our society, and JA Malta is proud to have played a small part in that!

They are now looking for financial support to run a 3rd round effectively and to record these sessions, so that the course will be accessible to an unlimited number of participants. The funds will be used for recording, editing, and publishing in a dedicated videochannel (youtube), printing material, promotion.

The financial requirement for this purpose is around €2,500, to be granted by mid-August 2023.

Whoever decides to support JA Malta with this contribution will receive the followings:

  1. Association with refugee integration,
  2. Association with Ukrainian community,
  3. Thank you-messages on the videos, social media posts, printed materials, articles and press release,
  4. The possibility of being present during the sessions.
