Dr Klown
Dr Klown is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to provide clown doctor services at Mater Dei Hospital (Malta).
Dr Klown was set-up with the aim of offering clown doctor services in Mater Dei Hospital.
Volunteers underwent a specialised training programme including artistic skill development as well psychological support and training. All volunteers underwent a personal training need assessment and specialist training in both fields was given.
All clowns have their distinct character and are geared to making the hospital less boring for children recovered there.
The characters and acts by the clown doctors are guaranteed to make everyone smile and laugh including staff and families.
