Support SJAF's Back to School Campaign!

As the new school year approaches, the St. Jeanne Antide Foundation is once again launching our Back to School Campaign to ensure no child starts September feeling left behind.

Every year, they support children from families struggling to afford even the basics such as school shoes, backpacks, stationery, and uniforms. While some benefit from government support schemes, many fall just outside eligibility, leaving parents anxious and children feeling different from their peers.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of individuals and corporate partners, 61 stationery packages were provided and 15 school uniforms were funded for children in need.

This year, the goal is to raise €3,000 to reach even more students, helping them walk into school feeling proud, prepared, and ready to learn.

How Your Company Can Help

  • Financial Contributions: Every donation goes directly towards school supplies and uniforms for children in need.
  • In-Kind Donations: Backpacks, stationery, and uniforms are all welcome. (Full list in the attached poster.)
  • Employee Engagement: Encourage staff collections, fundraising events, or matching employee donations.

Volunteering

Volunteer with St Jeanne Antide Foundation

SJAF are seeking the support of a corporate team of around 10 to 16 volunteers to assist with their monthly fundraising pop-up thrift shop, held in Parliament Square, Valletta, during the first week of each month.

Volunteers would be needed from 8am to 3pm to help with setting up, managing, and packing down the stall. All items for sale and equipment (including tables) will be provided by the St Jeanne Antide Foundation in collaboration with HSBC. This is a great opportunity for team building while contributing to a meaningful cause that supports vulnerable families in our community.

To sign up for volunteering, please email Melanie Piscopo.
