Join the run and donate!

Join us on Sunday 30th of April and Monday 1st of May at The Matthew Micallef St. John Athletics Stadium in Marsa for a remarkable display of endurance and philanthropy.

Claudio Camilleri will attempt to run 200km around a 400m track, while philanthropist and businessman Daniel Abela pushes himself to complete the longest distance possible.

With around 450 children in Malta and Gozo staying in residential homes or foster care, the need for constant assistance for their mental well-being cannot be overstated. 1 Run 1 Childhood, an initiative by Children in Need, aims to create awareness and raise funds for this important cause, so that every child can have the support they need.

The funds raised will go towards employing psychotherapists for 41 children residing at Fondazzjoni Sebħ for a period of 3 years, ensuring that they receive the mental health support they need.

Throughout the two-day event, members of the public are invited to run around the track by contributing a donation of their choice.

Together as a community we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children.

Support the children in need foundation's project

Children in Need Foundation intends to recruit its own psychotherapists that will be seconded to Fondazzjoni Sebh in order to build resilience and mental wellbeing for children currently living in residential care.

This pilot project in collaboration with Fondazzjoni Sebh will run in all of their homes and will provide weekly therapy to the 40-45 children under their care.

More information on the project can be found here.
