Rachel Decelis

Rachel is a chemist and chartered environmentalist with two decades of experience in sustainability – both in the regulatory and consulting space. She is the sustainability lead for KPMG in Malta, leading a multidisciplinary practice and supporting local and international clients in their sustainability and strategy journey. She is also the Head of Our Impact Plan for KPMG in Malta, spearheading KPMG’s efforts and reporting on Our Impact Plan which sets out KPMG’s ESG commitments and goals.

Throughout her career, Rachel has worked with Government entities and private companies in various sectors, including in energy, construction, pharmaceuticals, waste management, manufacturing, gaming, and financial services. Her work has spanned the fields of climate change and decarbonisation, ESG reporting and auditing, strategy, environmental permitting, and impact assessment.

Rachel is also a skilled trainer and internationally sought-after speaker, and co-author of numerous thought leadership pieces on sustainability.
